How does coaching work?

Coaching is the most flexible option and can take many different forms, depending on what the small group needs. Some examples of this service include:

• monthly check in meetings with a small group to provide individual guidance and accountability

• help strategizing a dissemination plan or research agenda related to teaching and learning scholarship

• provide guidance and feedback on data analysis 

• review and edit writing/manuscripts

• research potential dissemination venues

Multiple groups from the same project can be supported simultaneously.

How can I combine coaching with retreats or workshops?

You may find coupling the small group coaching works best following a multi-day writing retreat to help maintain momentum and create accountability. This might take the form of a 3-day in person retreat to plan out dissemination projects, followed by a monthly coaching meeting with Dr. Wheeler for the following 6 months.
